"A great nation is a reading nation."
Frederic Melcher, 1919
Children's Book Week has been celebrated nationally in libraries, schools, bookstores, clubs - any place there are children and books - since 1919! Founded on the idea that children's books change lives, we take this opportunity to celebrate the amazing choices we have in books that teach, inspire, make us laugh, and leave a lifelong impact.
Stop by the library and be a part of our weeklong celebration of great books, fun activities and cool prizes!
